Nature Monuments
These are parts of a nature protected in terms of the regulations of the national parks having scientific merits and properties led by natural effects. These objects may sometimes turn out to be a rock oa waterfall.
In Turkey there are 58 Nature Monuments:
Adana – Bigbig Forest Ivy
Place: Adana, Pozantı
Characteristics: Stucked on the rock, 15 meters tall. The oldest tree of the region.

Adapazarı – Oak Tree
Place: Adapazarı
Characteristics: A 300 – 400 years old and 25 – 30 meters tall oak tree that have a diameter of 2 meters and circumference length of 0.7 meters

Ankara – Asarlık Peaks
Place: Ankara, Nallıhan
Characteristics: A 52 hectare peak, having the rare examples of “Kuesta” morphology, which had been formed by the corrosion of clay layers that have different resistance.

Place: Ankara
Characteristics: A 750 years old and 20 meters tall juniper tree that have a diameter of 2.8 meters and circumference length of 9 meters.

Antalya – Kızılağaç Village Lebanon Cedar
Place: Antalya, Finike
Characteristics: A 1500 years old and 25 meters tall cedar tree that have a diameter of 2.45 meters and circumference length of 7.19 meters.

Characteristics: A 800 years old and 24 meters tall juniper tree that have a diameter of 2.35 meters and circumference length of 7.38 meters.

Characteristics: A 1700 years old and 25 meters tall juniper tree that have a diameter of 3.4 meters and circumference length of 12.53 meters.

Characteristics: A 500 years old and 25 meters tall cedar tree that have a diameter of 1.82 meters and circumference length of 8.14 meters.
